Interview/Podcast With Jon Cotton From Artisan
Join us in our first ever podcast and discussion with an industry insider. We joined Jon Cotton, who is the founder of Artisan for a chat about various issues in the music industry including; setting up and running a studio, creating the ever elusive ‘magic’ in a song, standing out as an artist, social media and Michael Jackson.
Jon has worked with numerous clients at his studio such as BBC, Channel 4, Sony BMG, Rubicon Soft Drinks and American Express. He also produced 2007’s Ivor Novello award-winning song, “Elusive” by Scott Matthews. Currently, Jon is producing the soundtrack to the feature film, Nativity (out December 4th 2009) which stars Ashley Jensen (from Ugly Betty), Martin Freeman and Alan Carr. Having a man with such credentials give us his time was an honour and we hope you enjoy the podcast.
